SiteScope Reference Guide

Template Properties

An important part of effectively managing your network infrastucture is having access to accurate, up-to-date, and specific information about the condition of systems and servers. You use SiteScope alerts to send notification of system faults and errors when they are detected.

This chapter describes:

About Template Properties

top

Each SiteScope monitor instance has a number of property values that are set each time the monitor is run.

These are the property names that are be available for use in SiteScope alert and report templates. You can use these properties to customize the content of e-mail messages that are sent when a monitor alert is generated. These parameters are also used to pass values between monitors that are part of an eBusiness Transaction Monitor

Properties that begin with an underscore character are monitor configuration properties. These properties are set within SiteScope on the applicable monitor definition forms. The other properties listed are the results of the monitor running. Note that some of the properties, such as lastMeasurementTime, are internal properties and not generally interesting for alerts or reports.
