Welcome to the SiteScope Reference Guide.
SiteScope is designed as a versatile solution for monitoring the availability of systems
and servers. An important part of SiteScope's versatility is that you can customize the
behavior of SiteScope to meet the needs of specific environments and organizational
requirements. This reference manual is intended to help you understand and use the many
options for customizing SiteScope.
For a general description of SiteScope , as well as for details on administering SiteScope,
refer to the SiteScope User's Guide
This guide describes how you can customize SiteScope behavior, capabilities, and
display options by working with properties in a number of templates and configuration files used by SiteScope.
This guide contains the following chapters:
- Chapter 1 Custom Alert Templates
- Describes how to customize SiteScope alert templates to alter the content and
format of alert messages.
- Chapter 2 Template Properties

sent using SiteScope alert templates.
